We had a record number of singers selected to participate in the Kansas Music Educators Association Middle Level Honor Choir! Over 800 singers auditioned and only 160 were selected. 11 of those are Royster's very own. Please help us in congratulating these students!

Please see attached for information about a bus stop change!

Officer Hayden Cole has taught our fifth graders during DARE this year. For his last day, he invited Officer Mason and his K9, Neptune! Officer Mason explained the responsibilities he has as a cop dog. The students learned what a K9 does for our police department and community.

Please help us in saying THANK YOU to our Substitute teachers. Our schools would not be able to operate on a daily basis without these individuals allowing for continuity within our classrooms when our primary teachers must be absent for various reasons. Thank you to our subs!

How about a big round of applause for our Middle School District Honor Choir students?! As you can see, we have several students that brought back awards. We are so proud of our Royster MS Honor Choir students!

In honor of American Education Week, our administrators and board members served all of our amazing staff breakfast this morning (and more to come tomorrow). This week is yet another reminder of the AMAZING staff that we have across the entire district.

2nd grade went to the Wichita Zoo! This was the first field trip for these students to ever go on outside of Chanute. We appreciate the parents that were able to join us. Such a fun and amazing way to connect the learning in the classroom with a real-life experience outside!

Today continues our weeklong celebration of American Education Week. The work in our classrooms would not be possible without the amazing support of our paras/aides throughout the district. Please help us in saying THANK YOU to all Educational Support Paras/Aides.
